I'm purchasing a 1520 off of Craigs list. Couple of questions...

1. Can you use a 128 GB card or is a 64 GB the largest I can use?

2. Is there a certain card to purchase? Brand? Model?

3. Do you have to format? If so, how do I do that. Getting it tomorrow.

You can use 128gb with it. I usually stick to recognizable brand SD cards, SanDisk usually, or Samsung/Sony. You don't have to format it if it's new, however you could do it in settings, idk where exactly though, maybe storage sense.

Beware of SanDisk cards. I had the Ultra and it worked very slow in my 1520. Many others post problems with SanDisk cards. I picked up a Samsung Pro 64gb and it reads and writes very fast. If you get a slow card you most likely will have issues with the video write speed which will cause it to glitch. Make sure you get your card from a reputable dealer because there are countless fakes being sold. Stay away from eBay and if you use Amazon buy directly from them and not a third party dealer. If you use say Best Buy you'll pay more but at least you'll know it's real.

You're going to love this phone. Make sure you reset it to factory before using it.

Oh right! Make sure it's a class ten card. Anything other than that would be really slow :/
