You're just complicating it when it's much easier to install transparent tiles app and pin blank transparent tile

That's impossible to achieve on Windows 10 mobile right now. Apps that offer transparency and allow transparent tiles don't work that way. They offer transparency for pinned tiles when Start settings are set to TILE PICTURE, not Full screen picture. So when you try to pin transparent tiles when your background wallpaper is set to full screen picture they remain in ACCENT color/follow tile transparency level. So if your transparency slider is set to 0, transparent tiles are of full color.
Try and see that I'm right

I really hate that all the tiles aren't transparent. There are things I use constantly so I had to sort of create a way to have my non-transparent tiles on my start without compromising the start screen too much. It's not the best but it works for me.
