So this is the SAME layout as my last upload but..I wanted to have the same look and feel as my desktop. I have a blue color applied to my taskbar, titlebar, and start menu on the desktop. I was trying to get the phone to match this with a solid color. So the way to do it is search google for solid colors such as blue, that match, use that as the FULL screen background and then make tiles 0% transparent and you get...

Actually, you could make any color you want by almost any image manipulation program. Don't need to rely on Google for that, plus it may not give you the exact same color you would want.

bluekalo has inspired me with his start screen so I made some minimalistic variation of it:

In the far top right corner is an invisible folder tile which after tapping will expand and show the rest of the start screen:

On 650's Amoled black it looks really great imho.

So how do you do the invisible folder tile and after open shows rest of start screen.

You have to place 4 empty tiles in the first row of the folder and set the folder tile size to small.
Without the transparency it looks like this:

..I basically have my start screen layout the way I like it. The only changes I make are the Photos Tile pic and the background. Both my 950 and 950XL (and soon the Idol 4s) are identical.
