The only reason to get the 1020 is if you really have to have that camera which is still arguably the best smartphone camera.
Otherwise get the 930.
In terms of LTE, the current international 930 does not support the same LTE bands in north America. 3g/fake 4g will work fine but no LTE. Verizon's Icon apparently has LTE locked into itself so even that doesn't work on AT&T or other carriers even though band support is there.
HOWEVER one Canadian distributer claims there is a north American spec 930 coming out soon, it will have all the north American LTE bands supported.
The main issue with LTE is that there are so many bands split among the regions that are incompatible with other regions and phone manufacturers don't seem to incorporate all the necessary bands on a single device. In regards to the 930, I would bet the international 930 will get LTE in HK, but not in north America. likewise the claimed North American specced 930 will get LTE in North America but I don't think it has the right bands for HK.
