Well guys, thank you all so much for your time and responses. I just came back from the Microsoft Store and got a nice hands on with the phone and my gut and opinion is to keep my S3 for now. I really love the OS and am definitely going to switch to it eventually, but I just wasn't very impressed with the phone.
I went in with a totally open mind with the screen, and it was just too fuzzy on text for my liking and overall clarity. Maybe my eyes are trained or spoiled by higher res screens, but it was no doubt noticeable to me next to the 8X and my S3.
I also didn't like the shape or design of it. For only an 1800mah battery, I felt it was too chunky for what it could have been. And I didn't like the width of it. It seems short and fat to me.
With that being said, I'm not saying it's a bad phone and I am not trying to ruffle any feathers. It performed very nicely and I do indeed like the OS. I think I am going to watch from the sidelines for a bit and see which phones are announced next and probably dive in then.
Thanks again!
