Sim card 2 icon: Is there a way to hide it?

I got my Lumia 950 and it's a dual Sim... Where I live, we only use 1 Sim. Is there a way to not display the icon of the 2nd Sim? (on the top left of the screen)

No way, I guess. If there is a way I'll buy 950xl. I hate double signal bars

I asked last week, I did a bit of research. Sadly no there is no option to hide second signal bar even if you dont use second sim.
Thats why I still dont have L950, still waiting for single sim version which should come this week in my country.

We've got to pressure MS to make it possible. I am in the same position. It should be a pretty simple software update to make it not show if not being used.

Confirming that the latest update does not remove the second sim icon.

Just convince yourself to look at it not as a defect, but a badge of honor. "My phone is so powerful, I can put a second sim card in if I want to."

There have been multiple requests vie Windows Feedback to Microsoft to implement this, so hopefully it will show up in the future. For me it would be ideal if it acted like a Single SIM phone if the second SIM isn't present.
