Skype assistance needed.....

Maybe im stupid but this is driving me nuts...

I use Skype on my desktop PC and every time i get a msg my phone vibrates, its really really annoying, is there a way to stop it? I dont want to switch the phone off as im waiting for calls and other messages.

Log off on one, only way as of now. Another thread got pretty big a month or so ago with the same issues.

My idea was Skype just going to phone when desktop or modern app knew you were idle. Easy enough.

about the only thing I'm getting on skype is spam like messages telling me that computer susyem is running slower than nominal and I need to contact a number to get assistance. They seem to be the same message from different countries and I have to block this over and over Its getting quite annoying,
