Skype Preview crashing

For the last few days, whenever I try to launch Skype preview, the splash screen will show for a longish time and then crash. I haven't been able to launch the app at all in days. I tried reinstalling. Last night it also had an update that I hoped would fix it but nothing. Of course I reported this through the feedback hub as soon as it started happening. Are others experiencing this?

Ok, after the update from the store and then a restart I can launch Skype again. Time to give it another chance for SMS.

reinstalling it every few weeks is becoming the norm for me, it starts to fall apart after a while
