Skype, WhatsApp, Messenger & Viber Problem after WP 8.1 Cyan Updated Lumia 1520

Hi!
I just received the WP 8.1 update on my Lumia 1520. After Installation completed, I'm facing some problems from Skype, Whatsapp, Messenger & Viber, I have no notifications from these applications when I received new message and I appear as offline. It seems that these applications don't update in Background. This problem occurs only when I'm connected to a wifi, but when I use my Data Cellular, it's perfect. Any body can help me about this issue please. Thanks

I'm having the same problem with my WPCentral app. Even the live tile won't work. Nothing I've tried fixes it.

U have not pinned the official live tile for WPCentral
What u did is went to ur app list and and held the name "WPCentral" for a while, in the dropped down menu that appeared u clicked pin to start.
What u need to do is open the WPCentral app, go to settings, tap on live tile, and then cleck on a "Configure" option. There u will get an option to chose one of two tiles, make ur choice by tapping the respective choice and then tap "Pin to start"

Mayb u should try and go to the app "Battery saver" and see whether the background tasks are switched off or something

I've done that already, had live tiles for a couple of years, so I know about that. It has been configured for live tile, it used to work, now it doesn't. Doesn't show up in notification center anymore, it used to. So it's something deeper. It all started happening after gdr1.

Lol! Strangely, it started working yesterday! I didn't change anything, yet it is working. I'm just glad it is . Didn't mean to come off as negative here before, just was very confused.

Edit - Soft reset got it working again, as well as some other apps I didn't know weren't working. Evidently it's an OS bug.

I updated my 1520 to Lumia Cyan 2 days ago. Battery drains fast, phone gets warm and both Whatsap and Viber does not sync my contacts. Tried to re install both programs and it did not get any better. Generally it seems like contacts in a general problem. If I go to my contact list and do a search nothing happens
