This is mostly directed at the ATIV S, but ATIV S Neo and ATIV Odyssey users are encouraged to check for these updates, too:

  • Samsung Link
  • Share Box
  • MangaCamera
  • Paper Artist
  • Photo Editor
  • ATIV Beam
Too bad Samsung isn't supporting the platform, and is only updating their apps to keep up with Nokia. :P

That's great to hear. Hopefully even more apps will be updated once WP8.1 is released.

Short answer is, you can't. You want Manga Camera then go buy a Samsung Phone, no point getting angry over not being able to update an app you shouldn't have had access to in the first place.

Correct. That may come later if Microsoft allow it and Samsung are willing to do it but at this point it hasn't happened.

Oh no Microsoft should come out of its shell atleast Samsung to give great features they give in android phones.now I understand why Samsung is neglecting wp8.

Even without those features the ATIV S is still a decent device and with WP8.1 it will get even better. So far the ATIV S has had every update Microsoft and Samsung has released, GDR1, GDR2 and GDR3 as well as all the Firmware updates Samsung released.

Samsung is focused on Android but they do put out one or two Windows Phones with each new version.

I meant if they have such features then Samsung will bring more market share to wp.

Samsung IS neglecting WP, not in question of updates for existing phones, that's okay, but in lack of options in models. Here in my country there's no option after all, only Ativ S and this is it.

While the market here is flooded with a river of Galaxies phones, only a Ativ is a total shame. There's no way to gain market share, if no market is targeted!

Dang, Samsung, how you want to obtain market share, if only a small fraction of the general public is (badly) served with only one model available? This way, Nokia becomes the only alternative, is the only decent.

I hope this would change in future. I can understand that's hard to bet in WP8 since WP7.x was that way, but now the things are different. Slowly WP is evolving and gaining some traction. With WP8.1 it will gain the momentum and visibility it needs. Samsung needs to do their homework.

It's the same thing everywhere so it's not just in your country. Even their CEO stated that demand for their Windows Phones was low. Do you really think they are going to spend millions of dollars on developing Windows Phones from scratch when their primary focus is Android, by a similar note do you really think that Nokia is going to spend millions of dollar on developing new Nokia X devices when their primary focus is Windows Phone?
