Slow data

Ever since t mobile released gdr2 for the 8x, I have experienced very slow data/network speeds. Around 0.20mbps both ways when in the same area I have always gotten higher than 15-20mbps. A temporary fix is to restart the device, but after a few hours it goes back to being slow.

Restarting it every few hours is not a solution, you should never have to restart a device ever.

I'm doubtful that others have experience the same thing, t mobile support is being a pain pointing me to the update page as if that really helps fix anything.

0.20 mbps is completely unacceptable, even if a restart temporarily makes it faster.

Any ideas on how this could be resolved? Rather than saying "just reset the device".

Do other people who have T-Mobile have similar issues with data speeds on their devices when they are in the same location as you?

Is T-Mobile doing any kind of tower maintenance in your area?

I would first check the items above to rule out a problem with towers/service in your area.

There is nothing wrong with the cell towers. It isn't an area specific issue for me.
