smart cam photos unable to open in Nokia camera

Today when out golfing I tried taking some smart cam photos and noticed after taking a couple in a row I couldn't go back and open them in Nokia camera to change the picture. Anyone else seen this and know a way to fix it? Doesn't happen all the time but twice today I couldn't edit the photo.

Are you sure it's possible? I didn't think it would be possible to edit Cinemagraph photos in Nokia Camera.

Same problem here. I can edit the picture immediately after the shot but not later.

Edit: Upon further testing, it seems that if you go back to the shot immediately afterwards, then you have the ability to edit it later. If you don't and take another picture, it looks like you never will... Odd... I tested this behavior on two separate lumias 1020 and got the same result.

guess we will have to send a message to Nokia about that bug.

This is what I find. If I open a pic from Camera Roll that was taken with the Nokia Camera app, it has a link below it saying Open in Nokia Camera. Clicking this link enables editing.

I suspect this is the way it's meant to work.

The problem exists only with photos taken with Nokia Smart Cam. I guess this means I'll be using Nokia Camera from now on.

Yeah except that link is missing. That's what the problem is.

Like I said doesn't happen all the time but if I take two photos using the smart cam mode in Nokia Camera without editing them then go back to edit I can't and do not have that link.

It's an annoying bug of the nokia camera app. You can only open the last smartcam picture you made. So the only way to edit is to delete the last smartcam picture (after editing and saving) so now you have an other last picture that you can edit and delete again. Very annoying... I regret deleting the separate smart cam app. It's not available anymore outside the us store. I hope they will fix it soon.
