So no Surface Phone yet, make your own...why do I get that old HTC HD2 hack feeling?

Oh, I wasn't doubting if it is real or not. I wanna play.
I have a half bricked (won't boot past the Windows Logo) 1520 I am using at the moment to explore with. The issue I am facing right now is I have to re-learn all the bcd and newer bcd syntax and definitions. I found a good source information for that though. Since I am learning it as I go I am also learning the best way to test newer bcd entries quickly and find that putting them into a batch script is the easiest for me. Someone on xda compiled grub2 for lumias and I got Grub2 to load up and had to go re-learn some of the entries from that too...Good stuff! Great fun..

I might have missed it, how's your Sailfish experiment on the Xperia doing?

I've shelved it for now. The Xperia X is still on Sailfish, I'm just not carrying it. LOVE the UI. I just couldn't get enough of the Android apps to play nice as I thought I would be able to. Someone traded me a mint-ish DTEK50 for a Lumia 1020 and I tried it out. Seems BB solves so many of my Android peeves I've simply kept carrying it...

I do need to fire up the X and check for updates. Better Camera would be nice. They really downgraded what the Camera does vs Android and Sony even helped them with Camera drivers. Couldn't get Open Camera or the Cam2.API's working. No app for my online only Bank (or at the best there was an app but something about the emulation layer most likely kept it from authenticating me in), I hadda use browser. No Motion Core support. I walk a lot on my job and have grown very used to tracking steps. The Amazon app store is not as full as one would believe either. (NO Play Store possible - even with the Alien Dalvik on board).

The hack grows and moves along and I for one can not wait to have a Cyan 640 XL "Surface RT"....in my pocket :-)

If you like the dtek50, the dtek60 is a much better device. Just out of curiosity what is the attraction to convert these devices to Windows RT? Wasn't that EOL long before W10M?

Yep, I'm looking for a good deal on a DTEK60.

My RT tablet still gets updates. It's feature final, but not EOL yet. It's lightweight yet powerful. I enjoy the RT experience. If you are stuck on WP8.1 a conversioon to RT could extend the life of a device.

Looks like the 950 XL has a workable W10 ARM 64 image for it now. Is in the Alpha stages but what counts is that the developers working hard succeeded in getting W10 ARM64 OS to install properly on it...then shared the way.
