Something must be going wrong. Are pigs flying!:) I agree with you. I was sure that MS would be developing some kick *** top notch 1st party games every now and then, and the 3rd party games would just hold us over until the next 1st party game. Not so much.

Had to happen sometime! :)

You guys are getting me depressed! Hopefully Microsoft will pick it up some.

Dont be depressed, just thinking aloud that MS can do much better with WP7.

I am sure they will they opened a studio in Vancouver specifically for iPhone games but its going to be hard to convince 3rd party devs that brought their games over to WP7. Hopefully they can convince EPIC to bring infinity blade with Live support.

I think MS is going to do something very special with Xbox Live gaming. Example I would love to see Xbox Live mobile to use the power of bing. So for example not sure if any of you guys ever heard of Nintendo Street Pass say if your playing Super Street Fighter 4 on your phone you can do a quick Xbox Live search and with the power of Bing you can see other gamer tags around your area and challenge them to a game of Street Fighter.

That would be a very neat feature. IMO MS is the only company that has the ability to do this since they have a Live gaming infrastructure and a search engine

Not really expecting 3rd party devs to make WP7 their top focus right now, however nothing is stopping Microsoft from developing their own games that highlight the platform, especially integrating with Xbox Live. Thats really my issue, 1st party support is poor, hardly surprising 3rd parties arent putting much effort into WP7 support.

I think MS has poor first party devs when it comes to making mobile games. 343 Industries isn't really known for mobile gaming and Rare is making a mobile version of Kinectimals, something no one wanted. Hopefully with the acquisition of Twisted Pixels Microsoft will be able to unleash higher quality games. Personally, I think MS should create a brand new mobile gaming company instead of relying on their current 1st parties.
