So who is getting a nokia 925

If as it seems the US 925 on Tmo is just 16MB, I'll pass. Since there is no way to get an sd card in there. There is barely any room for anything on it. (7MB smsh) I'd get the Nexus 4 at least then even with just the same memory you get a lot more usable space. Oh and the price differential is much better to. I hope Tmo surprises us with the 32MB model. Please, please!

Finding a cheap used phone that just launched is going to be tough. Good luck.

Voted yes. Already have the Qi charger and the charging shell ordered, ready to be used when T-Mobile launches this bad boy.

Wait wait wait.

....of the Tmobile 925 only has 16gigs?? That would be the ultimate insult. Come on tmo
..im sick of waiting. I don't want to get an unlocked one because I need the WiFi calling. Like legit need it.

For those complaining about T-mobile, that's fine and all, but posting here isn't going to help. Go to t-mobile.com hover over Support and choose Community, then Window Phone. Tell T-mobile how you feel. If we can light up that forum I'll bet they'll take us more seriously.

Now I'm wondering if I should go this route or grab a Rogers 920 for a couple hundred less.

That's what I did. Can't live with 16gb of memory. The 925 seems to be more of a downgrade than an upgrade from the 920. No inductive charging, half the memory on most carriers and a screen that's arguably worse. The only thing it's got going for it is the reduced weight.

Oh, and the USB port on top of the device - what the frak were they thinking? How am I supposed to charge that in my car?

I'm using a Focus 2 for my daily driver right now. It only has 8GB of memory. Have used the HTC Arrive for 2 years, which had only 16 GB. I think I'll be ok with the 925.

I'm being offered a lightly used 920 by a friend for $320. He has gotten offers for around $375 from others and is giving me a friend discount for a limited time. I really want the 925 but it would end up being a lot more expensive so I'm torn at the moment (unlocked 925 will probably be around $500-600 when it comes out here plus shipping etc).

I think I will end up with the 920 since money is a little tight at the moment

I personally think that the 920 is a better buy at the moment and definitely recommend you go for it instead of the 925. The 925 has half the storage and doesn't come with wireless charging built in. It does however have a nice AMOLED screen with Nokia's Puremotion HD clear black display and is obviously thinner and lighter but that's about it in terms of improvements over the 920.

squire777: If you're going to be on T-mobile you won't have much luck with an AT&T 920 except for refarmed areas and places with LTE. Otherwise it will be just Edge data.

It's a Rogers 920 so I should be fine in terms of AWS frequencies. Worzel - I guess you are right that the 925 doesn't have too many advantages so i guess i will go with the 920.

I think I will eventually do a housing change and go with a blue shell later on.

It has an extra lens in the camera that is supposed to take sharper pictures as well. At least one review has confirmed the extra sharpness so far.
Just saying.

Went back to using windows on a 920. I'm loving it so I'm getting the 925

So after the recent news of a release date and perspective pricing there is NO WAY I'm getting the 925 if it comes with only 16gb of storage. Priced at $579 which is how much the Galaxy S4 and the HTC One goes for, I can't see myself compromising storage no matter how nice and sexy the 925 is.

I agree the price is too high for 16GB. I have moved back to being on the fence between this and the htc one.

It must be 32gb. It doesn't make sense otherwise. I'm a Windows Phone fan and even realize that this is a bad deal. We're not going to win over any Android or iOS owners doing things like this.

My HD7 just lost the ability to connect to WiFi and sync to the desktop client, burning through my data and making it impossible to stream video and impractical to stream audio.

So while I had designs on holding out for whatever TMo device launches alongside GDR3 (maybe a 1080p phablet?) or, more ambitiously, WP Blue, it looks like I'll be taking the plunge in the 925 on July 17th.

I'm pretty stoked, to be honest.
