I bought one at BestBuy. I got them to price match what MicroCenter was selling them for and then used the discount to buy the keyboard.

I had been going back and forth between a MacBook Pro, a MacBook Air and a Samsung Note Pro. Almost went with the Note Pro last week until I saw the SP3. I knew the SP3 was the one when I was doing research on YouTube and other places. The problem with the MacBooks was that the Keyboard is always attached. The problem with the Note Pro was that I could not install any software package that I wanted.

I am thoroughly enjoying this. I don't need this for my job or anything, just bought it to uses as a laptop/tablet around the house. I still use a 2012 Mac Mini that I bought almost three months ago but that of course, is a desktop.

The screen on the SP3 is amazing compared to anything I have used in the last few years. It's everything I wanted it to be.

Just ordered the i5 128GB from John Lewis this evening as a Christmas gift to myself. ?100 off and 3 years guarantee. I shall just be exploring and hopefully enjoying it until the new year and then decide if I need the docking station and wedge mouse too. I will be selling my MacBook pro to pay for it as it will be replacing the Mac.

Just got the Saturday Special walk-in deal (before noon) at the MS Store on the SP3--$200 gift card. I picked up the i5 256 which is a bit of overkill for me but since it was cheaper I decided to future-proof it a bit. Can't wait to see how it compares to my original Surface Pro.

I've been tempted to get one now thanks to the gift card, and free case, but if I wait until 2015, my company will kick in around 600 dollars towards the purchase of the new computer. That offsets any incentives that I'm seeing for Christmas - even though I'd love to see that under the Christmas tree. All I have to do is wait a couple of weeks and then I'll order it.

I'm looking at the i5 256GB model, its just about the right balance for me and my needs, I'll also snag the docking station as that will be needed to be sure.

i5 256 with cover, dock and case waiting under tree. Planing on ditching the desktop. After researching and noticing a lack of the usual Microsoft bashing I thought I would give it a go.

There is one rule on the internet. People who has problems with their devices or hating brands. You always read these story's on the internet. But the people who are very happy like me with the SP3 i5 256GB, you wont read anything about how happy im with this device. Im just saying this to you because im sure u will like it.

And i'm always an person that buys products what i like, im living in the Netherlands and we dutchies are really Apple minded & Sony Playstation. But i got an Xbox One and Windows Phone and alot of those users really like my phone. Don't always go with the main products these days, Just buy products you like and fit your life perfectly

I ordered the i3-4GB RAM-64GB - $799 with keyboard and case the final price $1.299, kind desappointed because for that price it should be mandatory support 4G LTE.
After all, for that price u really got a laptop perfomance with 12" and supersensitive touch screen, anyway, here in my country, the mobile data is very expensive so i will buy a 4G mobile modem for SP3 and Lumia 1020 instead of paying 2 contracts to mobile network.

I bought my new i5 128 a week ago. I really like it. The first couple days I was not so sure, was it worth it? I'm an Android guy and wanted to ramp up my productivity. The Android tab was just too limited. I have a newer ASUS 16 inch laptop that is great but I needed access to all windows programs while working out in the field, show, and events. The ASUS was just too big. So far this seems perfect!

Edit: I took my Surface back today, and exchanged it for the i5 8GB 256. I needed the space and I guess the extra RAM can't hurt. Plus a bonus, Best Buy has them on sale for $75 off.

Just bought a Surface Pro 3 i7 256 GB from Tiger Direct last weekend. It was $75 off plus an additional $100 off student discount. I just started my bachelors degree program and it will be mainly used for that as all the courses are online as well as all of the books and other course materials. I have a Retina MacBook Pro as my main powerhouse computer and the SP3 is a great companion to it.
