I placed my order for a 128/i5 a couple of minutes ago from MS swedish webstore. Unfortunately it will not be shipped until end of August, but the up-side is that it gives me time to investigate what assesories I need to pick up (and get them delivered from ebay/Amazon). *excited*.

It will also give me time to sell my MacBook Pro 13 Retina. Hopefully I will get approximately the same as I have to cash out for the Surface with the Typecover (black).

I'm confused... Why not just bye it from a ms store here, best buy our eBay?

I ordered the i5 from the MS Store only because of the Essentials Bundle, and my wife has been nagging for an SP (She gets my SP2 xD). The bundle with tax & Next Day Air shipping (Wisconsin - US), came to just under $1400.00. What made it so attractive, is that I could have picked it up from Best Buy, but the cost of the SP3 + their 1 yr accidental is almost $1300. For $100 more I get the keyboard, decent sleeve (until I can find a portfolio one) & the 2 yr coverage that includes accidental damage - which will be a big help with the traveling I do for work.

The SP2 was great - especially seeing as my main laptop is an Asus G750 - and so much easier on the go than the tank I am typing this on! :)

nice surprise

The MS complete bundle is a must buy. For only $50 you can also get the Office 365 added to the bundle for $300. Not bad.

Just got one this past weekend. Slowly getting used to the tiles. But really love the size and the fact its a full win OS. I work in finance, and some industry programs are only made for Windows.

Just picked up mine - got a bundle deal (although at this price i wouldn't call it a "deal"). SP3 i7/512 + Type Cover + Office 365 Personal + Arc Touch Mouse Surface Edition.

Now i just have to try and ditch my Macbook Pro Retina/iPad Air for this surface thing.

The only reason I will not buy the surface pro 3, because I want to wait for the new intel processors. Otherwise it's a great product and a great value for money ( I just realised that the Iphone 6 Plus with 128GB is the same price as Surface Pro 3 with 128GB LOL !!!!).

I like it so much I bought 3 and returned 2 just so I could keep experiencing the unboxing. :)

Seriously, the first was an i3 and decided on the i5, then the first i5 had that weird yellow streak screen defect. The 3rd one (and last hopefully) is an i5 and perfect.

Best friend just bought i5/128GB from Texas flying to Zimbabwe for me. Have been waiting to get one since launch. This tablet is going to be a hit that's for sure. Why Microsoft don't take African markets seriously beats me. Lumia devices are doing well in Zimbabwe and South Africa with very little advertising too. Strong brand presence.

Ordered a SP3 today. The i5, 256gb, 8gb RAM model. It should be here next week. It is going to be so awesome. Passing my MBA on to my sister after I get the keyboard replaced.

Got a great deal on the i3 at the local Navy Exchange this weekend. They were out of stock and the sale ended today, but they sold it to me anyway. I should have it in less than two weeks. I got the SP3 and the keyboard for $780, 12 months, no interest. Too good to pass it up. Should fit nicely with my Lumia 1520!

My i7/512 just came in today. I'm loving this thing. I'm still in the middle of the daunting task of running updates and such, but it's here and that's what matters.

Mine's coming next month. In spite of what's said and what's to be done, I'm still drawn to it. Months have passed by after it was launched for retail. Hence, there must be ample updates and firmware upgrades as work arounds to resolve issues echoed by early buyers who have not learned their lessons getting Microsoft products as they come out - that quality control has been outsourced to customers or laterally moved to the complaint section.
