Soft/Hard/Factory resets not working

My Nokia Lumia 720 (about 2 years old now) has been acting quite weird for some time (no sound from left earphone, apps hanging more than usual, powers off by itself). Last week I did a factory reset, and was able to restore my backup.

Today I switched off my phone with the intention of restarting it, and it's stuck. (just black screen)I've tried the soft reset (vol down+power) hard (vol down+power+camera) and the physical factory reset. Nothing is working. I'm at wits end.

If the phone can turn on, then you can try using the windows phone recovery tool to reset. If that doesn't work then it's most likely a hardware issue
