Solid Color or Background Photo?

I prefer the new parallax background.
But at times, tiles with solid colors are easier to look at or read.

Right now I'm still testing the water.
How about you guys?

Right now using the new backgrounds and its a refreshing change. Sooner or later the more practical option will be preferred I guess...

It's too much fun looking for and changing backgrounds. It may even be my favorite feature of WP8.1

I don't see myself ever going back to solid colors.

I was skeptical at the beginning when they were announced, but after some trial and error and finding the right background, I can't see myself going back to solid colors anytime soon. They're too... boring.
P.s. Try using a pure black background with the dark theme. It's too awesome (if you love being minimalistic, that is).
