Some observations about my 900 that has purple hue

While my latest 900 has the purple hue, I also notice the following:

-insanely good battery life. I have 60 percent left after 8 hours of moderate usage.
-no wi-fi issue. I can leave cellular and wi-fi on at the same time.

The box it came in had a green sticker on it, but the OS was not updated.

Could the green dot mean different firmware that is causing the purple hue issue and is correcting the wi-fi issue and improving battery life?

Just a theory...

I believe the green dot was discovered to mean that it does have the update that prevents the data issue. The update that you are prompted to download in Zune is the same update the phone already has with a slightly different firmware number. I forget the reason why they did this, though.

They did this because zune wouldn't recognize it as an update unless they changed the version number

Just returned it and got another. This one had a green dot, but had the latest os installed. No purple hue. No vibrate rattle. No loose top right corner.
