"Something went wrong" Message show on my Camera Apps

when i press camera button or camera apps on my lumia 830 its show this message "Something went wrong"and close the camera. i will try to reset phone and also update phone software but nothing happened. now i am using windows phone 8.1 update 2.

what is the wrong on my phone. its hardware problem or software can't understand. please help.

Having the same error message on my 1520 when front facing camera is activated.

So no selfie for me

Most probably this is a software issue, which happens in like 1 for each 1000, that one happened to be you, if you know how to reset your phone, do it, if not, just take it to Nokia care.

For my case nothing helps. Soft and hard reset, uninstall and reinstall doesn't help at all. I leave it as it is.

probably not your problem but covering all bases. I had this happen to me when my SDCard went bad. Phone was set to save images to SDCard and the camera app wouldn't even start with the bad SDCard and gave me a similar if not the same error.
hope you can solve your problem

I am not using SDCard. i recover my OS also nothing worked. I think my $300 phone is gone.
