Thinking of doing a hard doing reset since I installed 8.1. Never done it before, and heard it wipes your phone clean!! What is the best route to make sure I keep all my contacts? Sorry if this is the the wrong thread!!!

Sync them to your Microsoft account. Meaning when you go to a contact it should look like this. Notice the Outlook at the top left: Image

On a second thought, most of mine are saved to google. Is there a easy way to transfer them to outlook?

I remember there being an article on this but I can't remember the link off hand. It involved exporting your contacts as an outlook CSV though.

I updated my contacts on Microsoft's site....took my SD card out and it worked with no issues! So far so good!!! Knock on wood!!!!! lol
