Speech failed to start error

Hi,

I am from India. Yesterday I installed Windows phone 8.1 GDR 1 update through preview program. I also made settings to Run Cortana alpha version

Lumia 720
Region: India
Language: English UK
Speech Recognition: English UK
Internet: On
Location Services: On
Bluetooth: Off
No Headset is plugged in.

When I hold Search soft key it throws error "Sorry, Speech failed to start, try again later"
When I start Cortana from Main menu. It displays welcome screen and then on tapping Mic icon throws same error.

Note: Few days back I had started Cortana by changing my Region to US and Language to English US.

Also MS already knows about this issue and will apparently fix it after the GDR1 updates have finished

yes, I went through thread.

Default speech software works fine. (location is off and internet is on / off )

But when I start Cortana through menu (location is on, internet is on), it shows welcome screen and on tapping Mic icon it throws above error. hope it will get resolved soon.

hey its working now don't know how. looks like some issue from MS side.

Yes I'm seeing uk users saying the same thing.. MS is probably slowly updating cortana from their servers
