Speech Language pack stuck at downloading

I am New to windows phone 8, I am using NL 720 today i tried to install English (India) speech language pack. But it just keep showing downloading under it. And moreover when I taps it do remove it it goes to the phone update page/screen showing checking updates and nothing happening.

I searched a lot and the solution of trying to install another "keyboard" didnt help me. Even the "keyboard" page shows preparing for download.

Even soft reset it for may be 6-7 times nothing has changed, Now last thing is Hard reset ( which i am avoiding ).

Now my question ... is there any remedy for this problem ? And I am using GDR3 (preview) in my NL720 so will it be safe to hard reset ... and how should I save my messages and contact information.

I got a lumia 520 and when i downloaded the english language pack it too me around 15-30 minutes,so be patience...

Problem is solved.... I just left it with downloading status and all went good in the last. Now , what i think problem is the mirror from where these packages are downloaded. Since In India we don't have carrier releasing the updates and thus they must not maintain all these files. Therefore In my opinion the mobile set tries to download all these files from a central storage location thus the traffic and the distance plays the role of huge time in downloading .... It took 30-40 min just to have the initial cheking for updates and pop up asking for the updates to download.

mine got stuck since amber update and now im on black update still keeps showing "downloading" status..(US English pack).

This solve my problem...

Speech, stuck on "downloading language". - Microsoft Community

To fix that problem, simply add a keyboard or something else that will trigger the phone to update itself and it will update the postponed speech update.
