I'm thinking about switching off of spotify because they don't have a metro app, nor does it seem like they are going to either. If they were going to take it seriously and make an app, they would have done it by now because slacker, Pandora, and I heart radio all have apps for metro. The question that I have is am I going to be missing much going to xbox music. Is it now as fully featured as spotify or should I just hold out and wait for them to hopefully get a metro app, some day in the future?

I should try it out. That's what I'm gonna do when my Spotify Premium runs out

I have been a user of Xbox music for several years, still grandfathered into the MP3 plan of Zune pass, but I much prefer Xbox music over spotify. The nicest feature is that it is not an app that runs, but just part of the Windows phone shell. Find and download music using the Store app, as if you were looking for a podcast or app. Much more fluid in WP, and the music collection is great. I always have the music that I want to hear, and I have a wide range of musical interests.
