I'm having the same battery problems on my mine my wife's 925. Very erratic results. Sometimes overnight, the phone uses 1% per hour, others 5%!
Sometimes I chat 20 minutes on viber or WhatsApp and loose battery at 1% per minute. Very bad. This is just a speculation on my behalf, but I really feel that the notification system is using the battery inefficiently. I don't chat for a long time at all... but WhatsApp and Viber are always on the top of my list when it comes to power usage.
I can't wait for this to be resolved.
