Store notification of updates no longer appear.

It's been a while since there were any store notifications of app updates, and i thought the apps did not get any updates in a while.
But after checking a couple it appears that they have and the store did inform me of them.
The updates should be checked on a daily basis if i'm not mistaking.
Does anyone else encounter this issue?

The weirdest thing just happened.
As i was browsing the "magical" link, and wanted to go and check "Check you have push notifications enabled in Find My Phone"
i got 18 updates, BEFORE doing any of what was written in the link.
How weird is that.
