Strange - a system app did not load correctly - see screen shot attachements

I had an update to extras + info and afterwards, my system list shows a very strange C: drive path like something didn't install correctly - when I click on it, I get "something went wrong" message. My wife also has the Lumia 928 and hers did not do this after she update the extras + info. Based on matching up our system apps, the call + SMS filter system app appears to be the one that did not load correctly. Its like it tried to load but did not install and ended showing the path of the file. screen shot attached showing system app list and the message when I click on the system app.

does anyone know how to resolve a system app issue? I really don't want to do a reset if I don't have to.

Get SysAppPusher and install the Call+SMS filter see if that fixes it.

I tried the sysapp pusher, clicked on the Call+SMS filter app, and the store said its not available for my phone and I can't download it. Lumia 928. Any other way to install it?

what about when you select extras&info can you update that ?

you may need to resort to doing a soft reset. should not lose data

volume down + power button together

else a hard reset may be required

I tried both and no success. Looks like I have to do the dreadful hard reset. fortunately I have all my apps, settings, photos and texts backed up

Change your system time to Year 2222, click any app it will uninstall automatically. Note: This will clear your Data Sense log and start over from 0.

yes,that really work,you know much ,I had ported Nokia storage to my htc 8x but after gdr3 it was useless,Thank you know i could delete it.

So did the hard reset resolve your Call + SMS issue? I downloaded it, installed and am getting the same "This is not working" message - I've followed the thread, did the soft reset, did the Calendar year 2222 but have not tried the hard reset yet.

So if you say it cleared your issue - maybe it's worth a try.
