Struggling with sudden Others storage increase..

The problem that I'm facing is that I tried to install SIX-GUNS manually from SD card, but during installation the battery got discharged and the phone se switched off.. When I restarted it, the app showed that it needed attention, but would start installation even after numerous tries, so I cancelled the installation.. When I tried to install again from local apps, it showed that the app is installed, while there was no such app in the App list. The others storage had suddenly risen from a couple of mbs to almost a GB( i.e. The game size ) and its increasing ever since.. In the store, the game is still available for installation.. What should i do now ???

There's only a few things you can try here.

First is to give Storage Sense a go and try deleting Temporary folders. This may fix the issue. Keeping in mind that this process takes time.

If that doesn't work then you can try a soft reset first to see if things get sorted.

If that doesn't work then you're left doing a hard reset. Keeping in mind this erases your phone.

Not indexing by category on SD seems to sort itself out if you connect the phone to your PC and open the Windows Phone App (Windows 8 or 8.1)...
