Stuck in infinite spinning gears for longer than 30 minutes---Here is the fix

Normally, it takes only 30 minutes at most to reset it. In the event that it would take longer, follow the link in the bottom. I want to keep it updated and these threads can get out of sync.

My husband tried all the things you said to do, as did I, on his phone and it is stuck in infinite spinning wheels. He said it did it before and it wiped him out to the beginning, but he is a truck driver and needs his phone for business. The spinning wheels has gone on all morning. Help!
