Surface 2 not eligible with T-Mobile Prepaid 200MB

Just FYI. They registered mine on the network but told me that. I am wondering if I change the IMEI to that of Nexus 7 LTE, and swap it back to Surface 2, will it still work?

That doesn't make any sense. Maybe the salesperson that told you that didn't know what he was talking about. I'd call T-Mobile by phone and ask them why.

It's T-Mobile's network, why limit it to a handful of tablets? Such a strange limitation to impose.
