Surface 3 won't boot usb stick

I hold the volume key down but when the menu appears the selection of 1 or the other key (forgot what key) does nothing.

I had to restart the surface.

It is Acronis True Image bootable usb stick.


I guess I can't image my Surface 3

Mine let me make a system image, then refused to boot from the windows 10 bootable usb key that I made. With Microsoft's own tool.

If you are still watching this thread, you need the usb dvd tool called Rufus.
