Surface Book and Surface Dock Ethernet

Has anyone successfully connected the new Surface Dock at 1Gbps? My Surface Book/Dock combination connects only at 100mbps. Microsoft support has been unsuccessful to correct the issue, even let them remote in to the Surface Book. I have tried different cables, different switch ports and different switches. All of my other equipment connects at 1Gbps no problem. Not the Surface Dock. Anyone have any insights?
