Hi, so I'm using a surface book with performance base (the 16 GB model) to try and run Autodesk Mudbox 2017. My issue is that the program itself runs better on just the tablet portion; navigation is snappier, and it's more responsive to the pen. When I use the discreet GPU (which should be more powerful) it is a lot more sluggish. I have tried getting the latest drivers, including WinTab. I also downloaded the GeForce program and messed with the settings. I just don't understand how using the extra power in the base can slow it down so much. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas I would really appreciate it! No one else seems to have tried Mudbox on a surface book before.
