Woo Hoo - just logged into my Fed Ex portal and I see it there tracking to my address. I have not received notification from Microsoft however, nor does it show as shipped when I log into my store account.

Me too - but according to Fed Ex, it arrived at their location in China 2 days ago, went to Shanghai (in Shanghai for about a day), went to Japan and is now en route from Japan to the US. I suspect that it went through US inspection in Shanghai based on what Fed Ex said in the tracking statement which might explain why it spent so much time in Shanghai.

Maybe he is closer to the west coast, and you are closer to the east? Weird.

Mine isn't showing anything, because I don't think it shipped yet Card still shows a temporary charge from Monday, and haven't received a shipment notification. Just mean to run a temp charge before the actual charge, MS :angry:

One thing you can do is go to fedex and track by reference number and use your Microsoft Store order number as the reference number. That has been working for others if their SB actually shipped.

Tracking still showing clearance delay. Called MS Store support and they contacted FedEx while I was on the call. It is being addressed, hopefully moves along at some point today. Supposedly issue was with weight and other items on the documentation.

No, I'm in the Seattle area - you don't get much closer to the west coast than that LOL. But for FedEx, it doesn't really matter - their air shippign hub is in Memphis. If I sent someting via FedEx overnight air to my parents who live 70 miles away, I'm pretty sure it would go through Memphis to get to them.

Thanks for that. Tried this earlier when I read your post, with no luck. Just checked again, and it is making its way through China. Not the Friday delivery I was hoping for earlier in the week, but it looks like Monday, at least.

FedEx says mine was sent from China on 10/21, left Chinese customs on 10/22, is in Japan on 10/23, and is set for delivery to my home by 10:30 a.m. on 10/26. I would have preferred earlier delivery, but very happy to get it as originally scheduled!

I'm hoping the stupid clearance crap lifts soon. My moto x last month was sitting there for couple of days because apparently Motorola didn't declare the value of the goods in that shipment and was not cleared until they got back to them with the right paper work. Hopefully this doesn't sit there like that and gets out of custom clearance tonight and onto local FedEx facilities.

Mine is still "in process". I ordered on the 11th and don't have a fedex account so I can't see if any shipments are arriving at my apartment. Can I assume my order has no problems? Like, if I was having the infamous fraud detection problem would that be reflected in my order status?

I've had two charges go through on my credit card: one yesterday for $194.30 and one just now for $269.86. The first one seems to be for the docking station on its own. I'm not sure what the second one is for. It's in the ballpark of the Band 2, but the total on that one is supposed to be $308.86 so who knows.

Still waiting for a big 'ol $2K+ charge to show up.

It would be kind of hilarious if I had a docking station arrive Monday with no Surface Book to plug it into.
