Microsoft has created a rather frustrating situation for SP3 business users for whom group policy prevents gathering updates via Windows Update. The necessary drivers for both Win 10 and Win 8.1 devices have not been posted to the device firmware download page. Essentially this means any business users have a 200 dollar brick. Luckily, I have a personal SP3 on Win 10 as well so that I can confirm my dock is functional.
Does anyone know where I can find the firmware for Win 8.1? If my business machine was Win 10 I would just grab the three required drivers files from my personal device, but there is an OS version check preventing me from installing (and probably blowing up my PC.).
I have also checked MS catalog update site. Thanks for any help!
