I made this paper mockup once I got to know about screen size & 4 : 3 aspect ratio. Based on some basic maths & scaling I was able to make this mockup which I think gives rough idea about size of surface duo .

the device on the right is Samsung Galaxy j6 plus. It's 6 inch device with 18.5:9 aspect ratio.

I did one with a paper towel just to better visualize the size/feel and be able to compare it to other things.

I went and tried it at best buy....felt ok to me. WC has had a lot of images posted from Daniel and Zac...plus the media photo of Panos holding it in his hand Looked like an acceptable, to me, size. plus the comparison photo with passports....for the average person it should work.
