Surface Earbuds Seamless Switching

I just got a pair of Surface Earbuds and cannot figure out how to get the seamless switching feature to work. I have them paired to my galaxy s10e and my Surface Book 2 and so far I have to manually switch between the two devices.

It turns out that while the earbuds can be paired to multiple devices they don't support the intelligent switching feature like the headphones. Thanks for the response though.
