I really, really wish MS offered the colors on the higher-end model. Looking to purchase one for my gf as a gift for her bday, she really loves the graphite gold color, but 256gb and especially 8gb of RAM isn't going to cut it. Ugh rock and a hard place (help me WC, give me one for free so I don't have this dilemma

The Surface Laptop looks pretty sweet. It definitely does have some draw-backs, but I'm more interested in this laptop than the Surface tablets. The idea of just having one piece of hardware to watch out for, instead of having the keyboard basically separate sounds awesome. I also read an article about the cloth they use on their keyboard... wow. It's super nice and like anti-absorbent, so it doesn't soak up your hand juices. Haha!
