Surface Pro 3 Battery Dying

My Surface Pro 3 (i5/128GB) keeps dying at any battery percentage. It will just randomly turn off even if the battery is in the 90s and when I put it on the charger the battery would say 0% for a few minuets and then it would charge like normal. I've refreshed it through settings but that didn't help. I need a second opinion before I go to Microsoft.

Does it completely shut off? Or is it just going to sleep? Or maybe it's going into connected standby? If it really is shutting off. Take it to Microsoft just like rdubmu says or call them. It has a manufacturer warranty for year. They will take care of it.

It shuts completely off and when I try to turn it back on, it gives me the battery symbol. I'm going to take it to Microsoft.
