Does anyone else have a Surface Pro 4 and a Nexus 6P? I'm having difficulty getting the 6P to charge.

When plugged in to the S4P power brick, the 6P keeps cycling charging then not.

When plugged in to the S4P directly, it shows up as "charging over USB" on the phone but it is a minimal charge. It basically just slows down how fast the phone drains, it doesn't actually charge.

Anyone?

what's the current rating of the original charger for the phone? If the current is very high, than the phone will not be able to charge using the sp4.

I have a 6p and both an SP3 and SP4 and it is the same issue--the charging port on the cord doesn't work. Power cycles on and off a bunch of times.

I'm guessing the 6P draws too much power, or that quick charge causes issues with it.
