In anticipation of ordering my Surface Pro 128GB with Type Cover on February 9th, I set up a list of accessories for the Pro. Basically, I intend to have two cases for it. An Incipio sleeve that'll hold the Surface Pro and power cable. I will also get a small laptop bag to put that sleeve into to carry the rest of the stuff.

I ordered the following:

USB 3.0 four port hub
USB 3.0 multi-card reader (SD, microSD, MMC, etc.)
Sandisk Ultra 64GB UHS microSDXC
Mini-displayport to displayport 6ft cable
Incipio sleeve
Case Logic laptop bag (14 inch)

Already have:

USB 3.0 cables (micro and regular)
USB 2.0 cables (mini for my cameras)
Comfort Mouse 6000
HP Elite L2201x super slim PVA monitor 1920x1080 (displayport only)
1 TB external USB 2.0 hard drive

Considering:

Touch Mouse
Arc Touch Mouse
Matias foldable full size keyboard

They were out of the USB 3.0 to Ethernet adapter I was going to get, but this will see very limited use (although I will need it from time to time). I have some USB 3.0 cables with micro connectors, and external 1TB hard drive slimline, mini USB 2.0 cable for my cameras and other uses. I also have a Comfort Mouse 6000, but am debating on trying that Touch mouse or Arc Touch mouse. Matias also makes a foldable full size keyboard that would be pretty neat for traveling, but it's probably overkill for my use. I also have a 22 inch super slip HP displayport only monitor with 1920x1080 resolution that will make using it as a full PC much easier when I need too.

Yes, it's a lot of accessories, but that's why the two cases. I can make this tablet go from tablet, to laptop, to full PC pretty much whenever I need it.

The accessory that I want to get when I pick up my Surface is a second power adapter. That way, I can keep one at work and one at home.

Surface rt charger does charge the pro. I'm assuming it charges less since it less watts. But I confirmed it does show charging at best buy. $80 seems a lot for a charger, luckily I'll have my rt charger also.

the RT charger works fine. It does of course charge a little bit Slower, but I haven't done anything like play an intensive Game

Got a screen protector for mine and installed it today. Went on with no problems and minimal air bubbles (I always get a few) and hasnt impacted touchscreen sensitivity or visibility though it does give a rougher feel to the screen. Best thing about them, only $7 from amazon for 2. Hopefully they will last a good while but seems OK.

How does it do with the pen? Also, does it make the screen slippery? I hate it when my fingers don't slide smoothly across the screen. I order this screen protector:

Amazon.com: Tech Armor Microsoft Surface RT/PRO Tablet Anti-Glare & Anti-Fingerprint Screen Protector with Lifetime Replacement Warranty [2-PACK]: Computers & Accessories

I'll report back when I get it.

The pen is wireless, so it would work regardless of screen protectors. The only possible problem would be if the texture doesn't allow the pen to move smoothly.

I'll report back when I get it.

Havent tried it with the pen, put it on then was out the door this morning. It gives the screen an extra bit of resistance but still feels smooth and doesnt interfere with touch response. Theres a slight residue from the adhesive of the protective film, probably will feel smoother when the residue wears off.
