Surface will wake randomly from sleep in bag

Having installed all the most recent firmware updates for the Pro 2 (I checked Windows Update), my Surface Pro 2 will sometimes have the tendency to turn on in my bag when put asleep. Usually I'll put the Surface to sleep by shutting the type cover 2 (it automatically puts the tablet to sleep), but also I've just pressed the sleep button and put it in bag, to find that the sleeve it is in is warm, and the tablet has drained about 40%, which is not helpful when I need it to get through a whole day of school.

Anyone have any suggestions to stop this?

Go in Device Manager, and set so that the keyboard does not wake up the system. I am thinking that maybe a key is being pressed and that wakes up the system. That is what I did.
I just the power button or Windows logo on the screen to wake it up. Hit it, wait 2-3 sec and then the screen shows.

I've disabled the "Surface Type Cover Keyboard Filter" or whatever, and it still wakes up in my bag when I press the sleep button. By the way, it can't be a scheduled event turning on the computer because it turned on in the afternoon instead of the morning previously

Are you putting it in the bag power switch down? Is the pro's power switch the same as an RT because I could see that switch being depressed if the switch was down.

I put it in a sleeve so that the part between the type cover and the surface is on the top (so the power button is nearest the zipper of the sleeve)

I ended up disabling all keyboard and mice devices from waking up the Surface from sleep and that seems to have done the trick...even though I can still wake the Surface with the keyboard when it falls asleep on its own in class (no complaints about that)
