Swiping from left to right to open the hamburger menu

Hi,
Why is swiping from left to right to open the menu available only in some apps? Even not all Microsoft apps have this very basic feature. It is way more convenient than reaching the top and pressing the button.
Is Microsoft aware and are they gonna fix it in the anniversary update?

It seems when apps update to UWP got that feature

It's just not implemented in most apps, not a bug sadly. Microsoft added it for groove and the tv&movies app some time ago but haven't taken it to any more apps since.
Windows Central is actually one of very few apps that I use which has it working well.

Very few people asking for it in the feedback hub as well, so unlikely it'll change anytime soon.

I have been thinking of the same since using Readit... It has an excellent implementation.

Shareit UWP w10m version already this feature so it's depends on developer.
