I was wondering should I switch my AT&T Nokia Lumia 635 for a Cricket Wireless Nokia Lumia 1320? I have a iPhone 5C that I use as an iPod touch as music isn't that loud on my 635 when using headphones I just want to carry one device rather than two. Which would you all choose?

The Lumia 1320 is a great device. The service is good too. However, you lose tethering and data seems to run a little slower too. I'm only using my 1320 on cricket for the next 5 months so I can unlock it to then move over to att go phone service. Good luck!!!

Nokia Lumia 1320 vs. Nokia Lumia 635 - GSMArena.com

1320 advantages: (slightly) better screen resolution [pixels per inch], double the RAM, battery endurance.

Tied on many factors including: data speed, connectivity, camera.

635 advantages: that updated processor will take more full advantage of upcoming updates...

*NOTE* You should be able to run any AT&T compatible phone on any AT&T reseller without an unlock. If you have a friend who has a SIM from another service, try it out and see if it connects.

Sadly. No. I just tried putting an att go phone sim into my 1320 and it needs the code. :( service is still pretty decent. Lte everywhere. Sadly no tethering, but this is a work phone anyway so I use vpn

That's why I like Factory Unlocked so very much.

Going AT&T branded to mvno seems to work almost universally... I guess mvno branded to similar not so much. Thanks for trying it out.

Thank you. I'll look into the factory unlocked version the only thing I got against it is its much more expensive than the Cricket version.

It can if Cricket will give you an unlock code...

There are 3rd party Unlock Services. Be sure to research which ones are able to unlock Windows Phone and have a good reputation.

Okay. I may save the hassle and just buy a Cricket variant then switch over to Cricket with whatever money I have left over when I sell my iPhone 5C.
