SXSW Announcement?

I just read that Nokia is going all-out for the hippy-extravaganza in Texas (a.k.a. South By Southwest [SXSW]) and they come right out on their official blog to say they will have the Lumia 900 for AT&T available to demo (along with the 710, 800):

Guests will have the opportunity to check out the new Nokia Lumia portfolio of Windows Phone devices, including the much-anticipated Nokia Lumia 900 from AT&T and the recently launched Nokia Lumia 710 and Nokia Lumia 800.​

Also, AT&T is having a series of events all next week:

Nokia @ AT&T’s “The Spot” during SXSW Music
March 13-18, 6th Street, downtown Austin
Featuring Nokia Lumia 900 from AT&T​

Anyone else think they could make an announcement there "get the Lumia 900 at the AT&T store next week"?

I say 1%....but someone should ask the people there if they know anything more aobut the release dates

Ugghh, I just spent a week vacation in Austin a few weeks ago. Either way this would have been an awesome addition to my trip to an awesome city. Eagerly awaiting anything Nokia . Have a feeling this might be my first non HTC phone since the Mogul. Good times ahead.

So, I was in town and got to stop by the Nokia tents briefly. It was *packed*, there were many phones on display (mainly 900s), it's as beautiful as you think it is, lighter than I expected, and no info at all on release other than "coming soon".

Totally wrong crowd for asking about it. These were event staff who put on events - they had no information to give. It wouldn't surprise me if it was all subcontracted out.
