Tardis Downloads (bigger on the inside)

Anyone had experience with apps that are enormous once they have installed?

A few days ago WPCentral reviewed Ninja+, a simple timewaster game with nice aesthetics.
Only 5MB downloading size - "that'll be fine" I said to myself

I checked storage sense just now and the game has swollen to 125MB on my SD card! it is possibly the least complex game in the store and I have no idea why it is taking up so much room.
any others noticed this kind of issue on other apps/games?

Maybe the thing is caching information or downloading stuff.

That's not one of those games planted by the CIA that records everything with your camera and mic to send back to them, is it?

Dunno, man. 5MB -> 125MB does sound a bit extreme to me. It may have downloaded additional content as you play. I've got a game that tried to do that, and I discovered it simply because it gave an error message "unable to download game content" because I had taken the data offline. When I discovered that game was doing that, I quickly uninstalled it. I don't play games unless I'm having to sit in the waiting room at the doctor's office or something, so it's pretty rare anyway.
