TELUS says the GDR3 update will come to the Nokia Lumia 520, 620 and 1020 in January

Canadian carrier TELUS has updated their device upgrade schedule that shows updates coming to Windows Phone 8 users.

The Nokia Lumia 520, 620 and 1020 will receive the GDR3 (General Distribution Release 3) upgrade sometime in January 2014. Nokia has also named this update as ?Lumia Black? and will include some Nokia specific enhancements. Though they are still waiting for submission of GDR3 software for testing, but this gives us a tentative date when the roll-out of GDR3 and Nokia Black can be expected. No other details are listed and TELUS notes these are estimates and are subject to change.

I have an unlocked 520 and 820...got the update in late September after many carriers released updates. Don't be so optimistic about updates

great, it took like 4 months for Amber to become readily available in my region after it started rolling world wide -_-

lets see how long this takes.
