Tethering/Data Sharing T-Mobile Prepaid

Just wondering if/how the 635 is able to share internet with other devices, in particular a laptop. I don't need it often, but maybe the rare day I'm on site somewhere with poor/no wireless doing just essential tasks.

One of the few Android apps I ever bought, EasyTether, works fantastic with my HTC One V and any device I plug it into. Is that similarly easy with the 635?

I would be on a T-Mobile $30/month prepaid plan.

idk about prepaid but on their Simple Choice plan I can tether. and there's no need for an app WP has built in tethering and it's super simple. a toggle of a switch and you're up and tethering. any WP can do it.

There's an App called TetherX. It's NOT the easiest thing to use, as you need to do a bunch of settings on the PC side to get it to work.

I too am on the $30 prepaid and need to tether on rare occasions and used TetherX to do it, but not lately.

I still find it ironic that T-Mobile will allow sidestep tethering with Android and iOS, but not WP on their $30 prepaid.
