Text box selection problem

Hello! I recently purchased a Lumia 640 and coming from android I am a tad puzzled.

I think i have found a bug in the text boxes. If you do not touch between the vertical lines of the box but accidentally hit one of the box borders, particularly the top one, your cursor does not appear in the end of the word, but in the previous letter!!

So let's say you have something that says "Microsoft" in a text box. If you hit the upper border of the text box, the cursor will appear in front of f and behind the t.

Is this a known problem?

I've had several text selection problems with my 640 but that's not one of them. Nothing gets selected if I touch the border.
